World Famous Blue Crab Festival

Enjoy an array of seafood and lots of fun at the 38th annual World Famous Blue Crab Festival.

What began in 1981 as a small waterfront gathering, the World Famous Blue Crab Festival has grown into a premier event that draws visitors from all over the country, and yes, overseas.

Located on the beautiful Grand Strand, the 38th annual World Blue Crab Festival is one of the largest and longest running festivals in the Southeast with several thousand attendees.

Set for May 18 and 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, the festival will feature fine arts and crafts vendors, specialty food vendors, live entertainment and a children’s area.

Enjoy music from RiverMist Band and Gary Lowder & Smokin’ Hot on Saturday and tunes from Carolina Soul Band and Jim Quick & Coastline on Sunday.

Bring your family & friends to enjoy fresh, local seafood from a waterfront restaurant or get your favorite festival food fix.

Enjoy scenic views and shop for a unique souvenir or gift from a crafter.

A kids zone will offer a variety of entertainment & activities.

For more information about the festival, including parking, accommodations, vendors, entertainment and more, visit or call call the Little River Chamber of Commerce at 843-249-6604.
