Located on the beautiful Grand Strand, the Little River ShrimpFest attracts locals & visitors alike to enjoy a variety of live music and dishes from local waterfront restaurants.
The 15th annual Little River ShrimpFest, held along the historic Little River waterfront (4468 Mineola Ave.), is set for Oct. 12-13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission is $5 per person per day; Children 12 & under are admitted free.
Festival goers can expect to enjoy a kids zone, face painting, stilt walkers, balloon artists, 2 stages of live music, and approximately 200 different vendors- including a variety of art and craft vendors, business expos, and community organizations.
Performers scheduled for the weekend include BackFire, Craig Sorrells Project, Nathan & the Zydeco ChaChas, Matt Parker & the Deacons, Whiskey Run, and Miracle Max & the Pet Monsters. Visit the Little River ShrimpFest website for performance times and additional acts.
Originally called the Little River Shrimp & Jazz Festival, the name was changed to ShrimpFest in 2012 to broaden the appeal from its jazz influences to all genres of music.
Fresh local seafood will be served by local waterfront restaurants and your festival favorites will be available from a variety of talented food vendors.
