Green Sea Floyds Lady Trojans Tennis Team had two home matches this week. The first being against Loris on Tuesday and East Clarendon on Thursday. Green Sea Floyds took the win in both match ups.

Tuesday against Loris, Green Sea Floyds won that match 6-1.

Single results were: Tamara Jackson (Green Sea Floyds) over Anna Anderson (Loris) 6-0, 6-0; Chance Caulder (Green Sea Floyds) over Charlotte Eaddy (Loris) 6-2, 6-2; Emmy Kienast over Toni Bell (Loris) 6-4, 6-0; Carlyse Major (Green Sea Floyds) over Brantlee Gerald (Loris) 6-3, 6-4; Kenley Jackson (Loris) over Shayla Hardee (Green Sea Floyds) 8-6.

Double results were: Tamara Jackson/Emmy Kienast (Green Sea Floyds) over Anna Anderson/Charlotte Eaddy (Loris) 8-0; Carys Cribb/Sarah Hewitt (Green Sea Floyds) over Raina Gerald/Kelly Chestnut (Loris) 8-7, 7-3.

Green Sea Floyds hosted East Clarendon on Thursday afternoon. The Trojans won this match as well 5-2.

Single results were: Tamara Jackson (Green Sea Floyds) over Elizabeth Frye (East Clarendon) 6-0, 6-0; Chance Caulder (Green Sea Floyds) over Emily Thigpen (East Clarendon) 6-1, 6-0; Emmy Kienast (Green Sea Floyds) over Layla Barrett (East Clarendon) 6-1, 6-0; Carlyse Major (Green Sea Floyds) over Addison Singletary (East Clarendon) 7-5, 6-3; Casey Springs (East Clarendon) over Shayla Hardee (Green Sea Floyds) 8-4.

Double results were: Tamara Jackson/Emmy Kienast (Green Sea Floyds) over Elizabeth Frye/Emily Thigpen (East Clarendon) 8-0; Toni Lyn Robinson/Abbigayle Gladden (East Clarendon) over Carys Cribb/Sarah Hewitt (Green Sea Floyds) 8-3.

Results for the JV were Kelli Ray (Green Sea Floyds) over Shirley Garcia (East Clarendon) 8-4.

After these two matches, the season single record is: Tamara Jackson, 13-0; Chance Caulder, 9-4; Emmy Kienast, 9-3; Carlyse Major, 9-4; Shayla Hardee, 8-5.

Tamara Jackson has wrapped up her season as Region Player of the Year and automatically qualifies her for State Singles Tournament in November. If things go as planned, Green Sea Floyds will hopefully be able to send a second player to the State Singles Tournament as well.

Their last match of the season was Tuesday as they traveled to North Myrtle Beach to take on the Chiefs.
