The boys will kick off region competition with a Jan. 4 home matchup against Socastee. The game is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. They are now 8-6 on the season.

The girls team reached the championship game of their tournament in Greenville by beating Emerald and Southside. The girls lost to Sumter in the final.

They also open region play at home against Socastee on Jan. 4. Tipoff is 6:30.
