Tommy Cochran had the only 700 last week at Waccamaw, with a 702 in the Double Nickels League. High game was a 279 by Mark Durant with the second high series of 697 with the Keglers Cash Challenge, where he was joined by Jack Wright 691 and Arthur Dionisio 652.

For the second straight week teammates rolled 700 series when Jamie Holliday was high for the Wednesday Fun League at 746, and teammate Doug Riley had a 707 with the week’s high game of 279. They were joined by Andrew Bailey at 605.

Jim Holliday went into his last game in Marie’s Odd Couples with a 500, needing a 300 for an 800 series, but he came up a pin short when he left a solid 10 pin for 299-799.
The City Tournament got underway a weekend ago with the doubles and singles bowled at Waccamaw. The first day of those events saw two 300 games bowled with regular Waccamaw bowler Sal Marsicano Jr., perfect in one game for a 770 series in his singles event.
