Former Socastee High standout Hunter Renfrow was one of eight Clemson football players to be named to the 2018 ACC Preseason Team on Tuesday at the ACC Football Kickoff in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The former walk-on enters his graduate season as one of the great success stories in Clemson history with four touchdowns in two national championship games against Alabama.
For his college career, Renfrow has 137 receptions for 1,589 yards and 14 touchdowns in over 40 games (32 starts) for the Tigers.
Clemson’s entire defensive front line – Clelin Ferrell, Austin Bryant, Christian Wilkins and Dexter Lawrence – made the All-ACC preseason squad, along with linebacker Kendall Joseph.
The Tigers are represented on the offensive side by tackle Mitch Hyatt and center Justin Falcinelli.
