Earlier this month, Myrtle Beach City Council unanimously approved a $126 million contribution to I-73. A week before, North Myrtle Beach city council pledged $1.7 million annually for an unspecified duration. Gov. Henry McMaster has asked the state to provide $300 million in surplus funds and COVID-relief funds to help with the interstate highway project. Do you agree with the decision by Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach councils to fund construction of I-73?
