Join us Saturday, Sept. 24, at Loris High School for the Miss Loris Bog-Off Festival Scholarship Pageant. Girls aging from 0-9 years old and competing for the titles of Baby Miss, Mini Miss, Wee Miss, Tiny Miss and Little Miss will compete at 1 p.m. They will compete in two categories: sportswear and beauty wear.
Doors open at 12 p.m. Admission is $7 per person. Children 3 and under are free.
The older girls which age from 10-24 years old will be competing for the titles of Junior Miss, Young Miss, Teen and Miss. Teen and Miss winners will have the opportunity to continue on to Miss South Carolina if they choose too. These young ladies will compete in physical fitness for Teen and Miss and Sportswear for Junior and Young, One on one interview and perform a talent plus compete in evening gown with Teen and Miss answering an onstage question.
This will be great night of beautiful, talented young women that you don’t want to miss.

The pageant will begin at 7 p.m. at Loris High School Auditorium. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Admission will be $7 for unless previously purchased at the 1 p.m. show. Children 3 and under are free. See you there!
The 37th Annual Loris Bog-Off Festival will be here before you know it.
We are calling all amateur chicken bog cookers to join us for the famous Chicken Bog Cooking Contest. First place will receive $750, a trophy and bragging rights for the year. Second place will receive $250 and a trophy. Also, we have a People’s Choice category which the winner will receive $250 and a trophy.
People’s Choice tickets will go on sale the day of the festival at 12:15 p.m. at the entrance to the cooking contest area which is located on Duncan St. Only 200 will be sold.
So please join us for this great event on Saturday, Oct. 15, beginning at 9 a.m. in Downtown Loris.
