Miss Loris Bog-Off Festival Scholarship Pageant will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, at Loris High School Auditorium. Girls aging from 0-24 years-old are eligible to compete. Divisions up to 9 years-old will compete at 1 p.m. They will compete in outfit of choice and beauty wear. Ages 10 years-old to 24 years of age will compete at 7 p.m. in interview, physical fitness, talent and evening gown. Teen and Miss divisions will also include an on stage question.

Teen and Miss winners will have the opportunity to compete at a state level at the Miss South Carolina and Miss South Carolina Teen Scholarship Pageant in Columbia next June.

The 37th Annual Loris Bog-Off Festival is only nine weeks away. This year it will be held Saturday, Oct. 15, beginning at 9 a.m. There are 200 vendors, kid’s area, a car show, three stages of entertainment and we can’t forget about the famous Chicken Bog Cooking Contest!

We are getting really excited about the Loris Bog-Off Festival but we need your help. We can’t do this alone. We need volunteers.

If you are a student that needs community service hours for school, church group or civic group that wants to help out in their community or even an individual that wants to be a part of this great festival please give us a call.

No matter why, how many or how many hours you can volunteer, we can always use your help.
