Miss America’s Service Day was held Saturday. Miss Loris Bog-Off Festival Teen Deegan Hudson was on hand collecting items for United Way of Horry County’s Make Someone’s May Day Bags. These bags are distributed to homebound senior citizens in Horry County. Thank you to everyone that donated items for this great cause.

We also had a Loris Spring Cleaning Saturday. Thanks to the everyone that came out to help.

The Annual Loris Easter Egg Hunt was held Sunday. More than 300 attended the hunt held at the Loris Nature Park. Miss Loris Bog-Off Festival Teen Deegan Hudson and her friendly pals entertained the children in a great puppet show. More than 3,000 eggs were hid and everyone had a great time.

The 8th Annual Loris Spring Festival & Outdoor Expo will be held Saturday, April 22 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Downtown Loris. Flowers for sale, Farmers Market, vendors, demonstrations, live entertainment, duck calling contest, kid’s area and a Classic Car Cruise In.

McLeod Loris Seacoast will be hosting a 5K and One Mile Fun Run again this year.
