Samantha Norris

As the year ends, we would like to thank everyone that has supported us, not only this year but for all the years. We could not do what we do without all the love and support from our sponsors, merchants, residents, visitors and city. We love promoting Loris and we love having you all on our team. Small towns are the best! Please love your neighbors and be kind to one another.

The Loris Chamber of Commerce is getting excited for the New Year! The board of directors will be meeting soon to collaborate on the 2017 events. We are looking forward to another great year to promote our beautiful city. The first thing that will be taking place is the Loris Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet. The banquet will be held Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Center for Health & Fitness. The banquet will have a different flair to it this year so we hope you will join us for this fantastic event. Nomination forms for Citizen of the Year, Merchant of the Year, Public Safety Award, Outstanding Youth Award, Robert Brooks Entrepreneur Award and Lifetime Achievement Award are available if you wish to nominate someone deserving. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the chamber office for $25 per person.

We look forward to promoting this great City of Loris, hosting events, encouraging everyone to shop locally and being part of a great community. We hope you will join us in this vision of bragging about our wonderful city too! We look forward to 2017 and we hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! And remember . . . SHOP LORIS FIRST!
