The Miss Loris Bog-Off Festival Pageant was held this past Saturday at Loris High School Auditorium. Twenty-six lovely young ladies competed for 10 titles.
Your new Ambassador is Amethyst Danko, Baby Miss is Magdalen Rabon, Mini Miss Zuri Bennett, Wee Miss Maci Gore, Tiny Miss Baylee Alford, Little Miss Eden Richardson, Junior Miss Carolinah Carroll, Young Miss Emily Rabon, Teen and Overall Talent Winner Keirsten Hopkins and Miss Loris Bog-Off Festival Deon McClellan. Photogenic winners were Eden Richardson and Lilian Canfora.

The 38th Annual Loris Bog-Off Festival will be held Saturday, Oct. 21 beginning at 9 a.m. in Downtown Loris. Vendor applications and applications for the famous Chicken Bog Cooking Contest sponsored by Tabor-Loris Tribune is still being accepted. Please contact the Loris Chamber of Commerce at 843-756-6030, stop by the chamber at 4242 Main Street for an application or download one from our website at www.lorischamber.com.
Brandon Bailey and Silk Groove will be performing in our free concert series beginning at 3:30 p.m. on the Main Stage sponsored by HTC, McLeod Loris Seacoast, City of Loris, Gator 107.9, WPDE and the Loris Chamber of Commerce. NEW this year is Celebrity Square sponsored by United Community Bank DBA Horry County State Bank. Celebrity Square is a red carpet event where you can meet or get your picture with some very special people and characters. Make sure to stop by and see who may make an appearance on the red carpet!

Courtyard on Main Stage sponsored by Loris Rehab and Nursing Center will have some great entertainment hosted by Banana Jack Murphy of WLSC and the car show will be hosted again by Cecil Chandler and the Myrtle Beach Car Club.
The fireworks display will be done after the concert and they are provided by Carolina Dental Care, Carolina Lady, Coastal Carolina University, Coastal Contract Services, Crossway Church, Elliott Realty, Lewis A.
