Thursday, July 18, at 7 p.m., light pole committee chairman Bob Sweet will address all Carolina Forest HOA boards and residents at our clubhouse about multiple attorneys’ advice to reduce Santee Cooper’s exorbitant monthly light pole rental costs.

They hope to reduce monthly pole rental of our 220 poles by $3,000.

Tuesday, July 23, the covenants committee and lake committee meet at 7 p.m.

Thursday, July 25, the finance committee meets at 7 p.m.

Friday, July 26, from 7-9 p.m., is the social committee’s happy hour, Evening Under the Stars. Resident Stan Vitale will play favorite melodies poolside.

Gerry Franklin, Roxanna Friebel, Jan Howard and vice-president Kathy Haight chair this event.

Bring an appetizer to share and your own beverage. No glass allowed by the pool.

Enjoy Plantation Lakes’ water aerobics free classes all summer Monday – Friday at 8:45 a.m. Guests must be accompanied by resident hosts.

We hope that some Carolina Forest venues will host him very soon.

Tuesdays from 7-8 p.m., is Surfside Beach’s weekly Hula Show through Aug. 13 at Surfside Pier at 11 South Ocean Blvd. A family demonstrates island dances. Bring chairs and blankets.
