MURRELLS INLET—Ronald Charles Breno, 69, died July 11 at his residence.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he was a son of Charles and the late Jeanne Breno.

Mr. Breno worked for CEI for 28 years and retired from Mittel Steel.

He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and a member of a fishing club.

He loved bass fishing with his dad and brother in Canada and fished in many tournaments.

He was very active in the Jensens community and coached his kids in softball.

Ron loved his family and grandkids and was known as a man who was always willing to help. 

Surviving in addition to his father is wife Cindy Gaydemski Breno; daughters Beth and Kimberly Breno; grandchildren Jonathan and Lauren Redmond and Jessica Brothers; sister Sue Breno (Denny); brothers Gary Breno (Linda) and Tim Breno (Gayle) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service was held July 16 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 950 48th Ave. N., Suite 101 Myrtle Beach, SC 29576.

Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel, was in charge of the arrangements.
