CONWAY—Mary T. Spivey Foxworth, 91, passed away Aug. 10 at Conway Medical Center.

Born Aug. 27, 1927, in Conway, she was the daughter of the late D.G. Spivey and the late Bertha Morris Spivey.

Mrs. Foxworth was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Conway.

Over the years, she was active with Cub Scouts, a member of the Ivy Garden Club, the Bridge Club and the Riverside Club.

Mrs. Foxworth enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by husband William Preston “Billy” Foxworth; son James Spivey “Doc” Foxworth and sister Elizabeth Spivey Hucks.

Surviving are sons William P. “Bill” Foxworth, Jr. (Karen) of Conway and Charles David Foxworth of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren William Preston Fox worth IV (Tiffany) of Columbia, Jean Trenholm Foxworth Johnson (Joel) of Conway, Richard James Foxworth (Lisa) of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Anna Foxworth Edwards (Josh) of Raleigh; great-grandchildren William Preston Foxworth V, Jones David Edwards, Kennedy Davis Foxworth and Richard James Foxworth Jr. and four very special nieces from Myrtle Beach.

Funeral services were held Aug. 13 at First United Methodist Church of Conway with the Revs. Kyle Randle and Kenneth S. Land officiating. Burial followed at Lakeside Cemetery.
