MYRTLE BEACH—With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Louise, our loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched, on Sept. 12.

She left us peacefully while at her residence for the last 10 years, the Myrtle Beach Manor, Myrtle Beach. She had just celebrated her 90th birthday on Sept. 10.

Born in Ellenboro, North Carolina, she was predeceased in 1991 by husband James Creech.

She was the beloved mother of daughters Shirley Todd McLaughlin of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Linda A Smith of North Myrtle Beach; mother-in-law to Ronald D Smith of North Myrtle Beach and the proud grandmother of Scott Todd Schenck Jr. of Jaco, Costa Rica, and William Justice Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada.

She lived a full life as a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. Her personal plate found on the front of her vehicle describes her the best: “I’d Rather Be Dancing.”A country girl at heart who loved music, she also loved her flowers and enjoyed showing her creative efforts with each changing season. Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her daughters a strong determination to succeed and achieve self reliance. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

A celebration of her life will be held at Myrtle Beach Manor, 9547 Highway 17 North, Myrtle Beach, today beginning at 2 p.m.
