MYRTLE BEACH—Danny Ollin Nobles, 66, died May 11 after a short illness.

Born in Myrtle Beach, he was a son of the late Ollin “Bud” Jr. and Levina Ann Nobles.

He graduated from Myrtle Beach High School.

Danny retired from Ocean Lakes Campground after 25 years as a security officer. He loved to sing about Jesus, hunt with his friends and family and fish out the front of the boat. He loved God with all his heart and shared the gospel everywhere he went.

Danny was so proud of his family and loved them second only to God.

He was preceded in death by sister Sally Nobles.

Survivors include Irene Jones Nobles, his wife of 47 years; daughters Amy Rogers (Allen) of Myrtle Beach and Holly West (Thomas) of Myrtle Beach; brothers Randy Nobles (Evalee) of Aynor and Andy Nobles (Linda) of Conway and grandchildren Abigail Rogers, Ace Rogers, Lilly West and Collin West.

Memorial donations may be made to Life Church, PO Box 30302, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588.

A funeral service was held May 14 at Life Church. Burial followed at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel, was in charge of the arrangements.
