MYRTLE BEACH—Curtis A. Johnson, 65, passed away Aug. 10 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Born May 27, 1954, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he was the son of the late James Lawrence and Lois Leone Johnson.

Curt was an avid golfer. He started up Horry County Cleanup along with his friend Bo Ives. Curt most enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife of 15 years, Karen Johnson of Myrtle Beach; sons John Johnson of Kalamazoo, Michigan, William S. Perry II (Sarah) of Escanaba, Michigan, Andrew M. Perry (Betsy) of Escanaba, Michigan, Nicholas R. Perry (Sammy) of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Kurtis A. Anderson of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren and brothers Ron Johnson of Myrtle Beach, Lynn Johnson of Richmond, Virginia, Randy Johnson of Fairmount, New York, and Lorin Johnson of Eugene, Oregon.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
