MYRTLE BEACH—Anna Rizzo, 91, passed away June 11.

Mrs. Rizzo was born in Brooklyn, New York, a daughter of the late Antonio Farina and Antonina Vaccaro Farina.

Anna loved to cook, sew, and take road trips throughout New York and Canada. She enjoyed gambling in Atlantic City.

Anna was very close to her family, who were very important to her.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by husband Anthony Rizzo; granddaughter Roseanne DeOliviera; two sisters and three brothers.

Surviving are her son, Peter Rizzo (Alyssa) of Delray Beach, Florida; daughter Christina Perez (Alexander H.) of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren Dawn Cone (Phil Janazzo) of Manhattan, New York, Ralph Page of Port Jeff, New York, Richard Messina of Shirley, New York, Jared Miller (Brittany) of Tamarac, Florida, and Brett Miller (Cari) of Coral Springs, Florida; great-grandchildren Frank and Brandon Cone, Sarah Janazzo and Mikaela and Maya Miller and niece Annette Annello.

A funeral Mass was held June 15 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Carolina Forest Chapel.

Burial is being held in Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.

Goldfinch Funeral Home, Carolina Forest Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
