Roy Hardee

Roy Hardee has been missing since early Thursday morning. Anyone with information on his location is asked to contact law enforcement.

UPDATE: Hardee was found safe in Georgetown County and reunited with his family in Horry County, according to the HCPD.

The Horry County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a 29-year-old man who has been missing since early Thursday morning.

Roy Hardee was last seen around 5 a.m. in the 500 block of Woodland Drive near Murrells Inlet, according to a news release.

Hardee is non-verbal, which may put him at increased risk, the release said.

He is approximately 5-foot-6 and 225 pounds. He has a shaved head and scraggly beard and wears glasses. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing shorts, a tank top and teal Crocs. 

Anyone with information about his location is asked to call their local police department.
