Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Health is offering virtual, online urgent care lists to all South Carolina residents at no charge during and after Hurricane Dorian.

Use the promo code MUSCDORIAN and the regular $25 visit fee will be waived.

The virtual care does not require an app, and can be accessed from any laptop or mobile device. According to a press release, MUSC said the service is simple to use for around 80 conditions including sinusitis, pink eye, urinary tract infections, heartburn and flu.

Patients using the service answer a few questions about their symptoms and can add photos if needed. The provider will then diagnose and give a treatment plan. A video option is also included if the provider needs to see the patient, and a chat feature is also available. Any needed prescriptions needed can be called in to the pharmacy of their choice.

Virtual care visits are not a substitute for emergency situations.

The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Find it here: https://campaigns.muschealth.org/virtual-care/index.html
