A North Myrtle Beach boat landing that was shut down by a state agency reopened Thursday, according to the city's Twitter page.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation shut down the Johnny Causey Boat Landing in North Myrtle Beach due to falling concrete from the U.S. 17 bridge overhead.

The boat landing is off Little River Neck Road, just below the U.S. 17 bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway.
