Myrtle Beach is waiving building permit fees for repairs related to damage from Hurricane Dorian, according to an email from city spokesman Mark Kruea.

City Manager John Pedersen signed an executive order Friday.

The waiver for repairs to residential, commercial or institutional properties for damages caused by the storm is good through Tuesday, though the city council will consider extending it at its meeting that day.
