The Horry County Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one person injured, according to agency spokeswoman Mikayla Moskov.

Officers responded to the intersection of S.C. 544 and North Strand Parkway around 12:30 a.m. Friday following reports of a shooting.

Police found one shooting victim. That person was taken to a hospital for treatment. 

No arrests had been made in connection with the case as of 9:45 a.m. Friday.
