Two Grand Strand men were arrested this week on child pornography charges, according to a news release from South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson.
Paul Vick, 69, and 27-year-old Lee Grant Cook were both arrested on several counts of sexual exploitation of a minor charges.
Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Horry County Sheriff’s Office arrested the two suspects.
Investigators with the Attorney General’s Office, U.S. Marshals Service and 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, which are all also members of the state’s ICAC Task Force, and the North Myrtle Beach and Coastal Carolina police departments assisted with the investigations.
Investigators received CyberTipline reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which led them to both Vick and Cook.
Investigators said both men distributed and possessed files of child pornography.
The Attorney General’s Office will prosecute the cases.
