A 20-year-old Conway man was arrested Thursday on child pornography charges, according to a news release from South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson.
Damion Demetrius Frazier faces 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Horry County Sheriff’s Office took him into custody. Investigators with the Attorney General’s Office, which is also a member of the state’s ICAC Task Force, and the Horry County and Coastal Carolina University police departments assisted with the investigation.
Investigators received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which led them to Frazier, the release said. Investigators say he possessed files of child pornography.
The Attorney General’s Office will prosecute the case.
