Litter cleanup set for Saturday

The Keep Horry County Beautiful Committee will host volunteer cleanup events next week, according to a news release from Horry County Government.

Trash bags, gloves, trash grabbers and safety vests will be provided for participants.

On Feb. 25, the organization will help clean roadside litter in the Racepath Community in Myrtle Beach from 8-11 a.m. Volunteers should meet at the Racepath Community Center, located at 1690 Racepath St., at 8 a.m.

Also on Feb. 25, The Distinguished Men of Bucksport will assist Keep Horry County Beautiful for a cleanup of Bucksport Road at 9 a.m. Those wishing to participate are asked to meet at 9 a.m. at the James R. Frazier Community Center, located at 1370 Bucksport Road in Bucksport.

The Keep Horry County Beautiful Committee will hold its next meeting on March 28.
