Jim Rex, former state superintendent of education, talks about the possibilities of gambling in South Carolina in a meeting in Little River. Rex is with the Palmetto Forum for Gaming Studies and the group held its first meeting in Little River on Monday. The group is a newly formed organization working with state and local leaders examining the possibilities of gaming in the state. It is an independent nonpartisan organization.
