Flood woes continue for some Socastee residents

Jim and Linda Fraboni move some of their belongings from their flooded home on Starcreek Circle in the Socastee community. The home has flooded repeatedly after numerous hurricanes since the late 1990s. “It’s depressing,” he said. "The last two times have been really, really hard because I can’t go 16 hours, get four hours sleep and go 16 more hours. I just can’t do it anymore. It’s not within my physiology.” Rain is expected to continue for several more days. Photo by Janet Morgan/janet.morgan@myhorrynews.com
