Downtown decorations

A busy Saturday

Downtown Conway is all decorated for fall and ready for a busy Saturday with two free festivals going on from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The city’s annual Fall Festival has been renamed Conway Strong this year marking one year of recovery from the Hurricane Florence flooding. The event will take place on Third Avenue and Laurel Street with food, music, inflatables, a kids play zone, games, arts and crafts. McGuire, the Tim Clark Band and Lees Cut will provide live entertainment. Happening on the lawn of the historic Horry County Courthouse will be the annual Live Oak Art and Music Festival featuring live music and more than 50 local artists, some in action. Fresh produce and food will be for sale. Bring a chair, find a spot and spend the day in Downtown Conway Saturday.
