Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach will host a series of family-friendly events next month, according to a news release.

On Saturday, Oct. 14, car enthusiasts can enjoy the Cruise to the Coast Classic Car Show from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the parking lot between Wild Wing Café and River City Café. The free event will feature all makes and models; including classic, antique, custom, and special autos, as well as late models.

On Saturday, Oct. 28, BooFest! will take place from noon to 4 p.m. in Lakeside Village. The event will feature three costume contests for kids in different age groups as well as one for pets. Prizes will be awarded and several other activities for kids will be on deck including face painting, a balloon artist and kids karaoke.

On Halloween, parents can bring their children to trick or treat throughout the area from 5-7 p.m.
