The Horry County Police Department is investigating another killing at a Sunhouse gas station.
On Sunday night at around 10 p.m., a female clerk was shot and killed at the Sunhouse on Cultra Road between Highway 701 and Highway 501 in Conway, Horry County Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick has confirmed.
He identified the victim as 30-year-old Trisha Dawn Stull of Conway. Hendrick said she was shot twice.
Police tape surrounds the store and an Horry County Police officer was guarding the property Monday morning.
A heavily-redacted incident report was released by the Horry County Police Department Monday morning.
The report states police were sent to the store because of a holdup alarm.
The report does state bloodhounds were used in an attempt to track down the suspect or suspects.
Other details in the report were redacted.
Later in the day Monday, Horry County Police Lt. Raul Denis said two men were involved with the robbery and shooting. He said investigators think the same two men robbed a Scotchman store on Lake Arrowhead Road in Myrtle Beach at 9 p.m. Sunday. No one was hurt in that robbery.
Denis is asking anyone who was at the Sunhouse store between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Sunday to call police at 248-1520.
This is the second Sunhouse worker to be killed in Horry County this month.
On Jan. 2 — also around 10 p.m. — the clerk at the Sunhouse gas station in Longs was shot and killed during a robbery.
In that incident, 40-year-old Bala Gopal Paruchuri died from multiple gunshots, according to the Coroner’s Office.
Another employee said he was in the bathroom and when he walked out he saw the other worker being robbed. The witness told police he saw multiple black males in the store but the number of individuals he said he saw was also redacted from the report.
He sad he heard one of the robbers say “give it up.”
A $10,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of the two men responsible for that shooting.
We will update this story as new information is received.
