The Market Common Shag 30th Anniversary Celebration Lunch will be held Saturday, September 14th, from 1 – 3 PM. Shag, the motion picture made and set in Myrtle Beach, SC, and voted by the readers of the Southern lifestyle magazine, Garden & Gun, as the 4th Best Movie Made in the South*, is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2019.

Guests will be welcomed to Tupelo Honey, 3042 Howard Avenue, at The Market Common, Myrtle Beach’s premiere shopping, dining and entertainment destination. They will enjoy upscale southern fare while hearing the story behind the making of the motion picture. Those in attendance who were in the movie will be acknowledged. The delightful experience culminates with a private screening of the beloved film. An all-inclusive ticket that includes the private screening, lunch, tax and tip is $25. A cash bar will be available.

Please print and present your tickets at the door. Keep in mind that tickets for this and The Market Common’s other historical events make for popular birthday, anniversary or any-occasion gifts.
