Patricia Carolyn "Cara" Lawson


Patricia Carolyn “Cara” Coleman, daughter of Dr. John Finklea Coleman Sr. of Chapin and Patricia Avant Coleman of Lake City, and Paul Edward Lawson II, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Edward Lawson of Conway, were married Dec. 12 in Kingston Presbyterian Church in Conway.

The Rev. Rhett Talbert conducted the ceremony. The bride’s aunt, Margaret Evans Coleman, provided the piano music and Bradley Hardee played the organ.

Matron of honor was Andrea Love of Conway.

Bridesmaids were Kate Lawson, sister of the bridegroom of Savannah, Ga.; Lindsay Winchester and Emily Richardson of Mount Pleasant; Ginny Fadeley of Columbia; Amber Rogers of Johnsonville; Lindsay Love of Lake City; Anna Margaret West of Charleston; Anna Propst of Florence; and Ashley Jordan of North Augusta.

Flower girls were Dearsley Gillette of Charleston and Livingston Meade of Summerville.

The bridegroom’s father was best man.

Groomsmen were Lea Cole of Mount Pleasant and Adam Coleman of Augusta, Ga., brothers of the bride; Alex Sherard of Charleston; Hayden Watkins of Atlanta, Ga.; O’Bryan Martin of Myrtle Beach; Richard Magrath of Charlotte, N.C.; and Scott Steiner of Easley.

A reception was held at the home of the bridegroom’s parents in Conway.

The Finesse Band of Columbia provided the wedding music.

After a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple will live in Conway.

The bride graduated from the College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is a general dentist.

The bridegroom graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is an attorney.
