Tammy Moorer (center) appears for at her bond hearing on Monday, March 17.

The father of the woman charged with kidnapping and killing Heather Elvis of Myrtle Beach has died.

William Caison died of natural causes this morning, according to Horry County Coroner Robert Edge.

Tamra Willard, with the coroner's office, said because he died of natural causes there would be no investigation.

Caison's daughter, Tammy Caison Moorer, and her husband Sidney Moorer are charged with murder and kidnapping in connection with the disappearance of Heather Elvis.

Elvis disappeared some time after 6 a.m. Dec. 18. Her car was found at Peachtree Boat Landing in the Socastee area after a citizen reported its presence at about 5:47 p.m. Dec. 19, according to public records.

At a bond hearing this past week, a judge denied bond for the couple.

An Horry County grand jury indicted the couple for murder and kidnapping Friday.

Also Friday, Judge Steven John issued a gag order in the Heather Elvis missing persons case, which means officials working the case can no longer talk to the media about it.

He died of stress and that came from all the hell of that news reporter that wouldn't stay off his property and all those Elvis followers coming by his house all hours of the night hollering out cussing coming on his property where he couldn't get any sleep. They were on his property everyday a lady from daylight till dark. Had his kids in jail for something they haven't done. And he was just so stressed till he died from it.

Not natural causes? Hmmmm well then I guess the devil just come up and collected his sorry evil arse and took him to hell where he and his family belong. Sure hope his little girls get to say hello to dear old dad real soon, what a reunion that would be, sitting there in hell and roasting like the pigs they are. That evil mean old fart won't be missed by anyone, the funeral was only attended by curious strangers and the one or two family that would claim him.....

"That is all I have to say!" Thank God.

Whether the man died or not due to this case and stress is beside the point - a young girl was kidnapped and then murdered. That seems to have been forgotten, regardless if anyone knows anyone else.

This explains the reason why almost everyone in Horry County in South Carolina are screwed in the head. There aren't many therapists here and even if they were, I don't see many using them.

Prayers go out to everyone involved - no matter if you know them or knew them. Good luck to you.

I know the family that's how genius! Did you ever think about that?! Did that thought ever cross your mind? You Ppl are so one thought minded and processed that you can't see past it and see anything else. It's really sad! The person that commented under me gets it though. This whole thing has had him so stressed out and wmbf would not leave them alone at all. And this happened! And all the crazy lynch mob and Ppl so ready to accuse someone when there's no DNA, no fingerprints, no body. Just a woman saying some words when she was angry! I've been there. Any woman that's been cheated on has been there! Doesn't mean your going to harm anybody!.like I said once and I'll say it again,.I think all these Ppl out there trying to convict them and so gun Ho about they did it and they don't know either family at all, y'all are trying to make it out like it's some lifetime movie when it's not. That is all I have to say!

My heart goes out to the three children who's parents are both sitting in jail and now have lost a Grandfather.
I'm sure the stress of this murder investigation contributed to his death, along with dealing with his grandchildren's emotions during this tragic situation.

    And you know this....how?

If anyone killed this man, it was probably the actions of his daughter.

You're a pitiful soul! He didn't die of natural causes, it hasn't even been released yet! Even on the news or to the family. So you guys don't have your facts straight! And all you jerks and reporters and crazy Ppl killed him!
